A sneak peek...

I got to spend the evening with Lori and Katy taking her maternity pictures. Katy was absolutely radiant. The three of us laughed and giggled and had a great time! Katy can make anyone laugh in any situation!!! We were mainly in Cameron Park, but ventured onto an old railroad bridge near the end of the evening. Here is just a sneak peek of the day. Bo will be editing more in the next week or so. I can't wait to see the rest of them.

BVBS

This is a little late, but I wanted to share our fantastic photo. We did Backyard Vacation Bible School in June and it was a blast! I worked at Bill and Nikki Bailey's site as the children's story teller. I love teaching the kids and seeing their eyes light up when they finally get it! We learned the ABC's of being a Christian, and I am proud to say that by the end of the week, those kids knew what each letter was and what it meant! I only hope that I made a small difference in some of those kids lives!

A new hobby

I have recently become very interested in taking pictures. It isn’t something I want to pursue as a career. It is more a fun hobby, something to dabble in here and there. Bo and I have kind of made it a team effort (in my mind anyways)! I take the pictures and he edits them. He is getting very creative with the editing, and is really mastering the technique. He has a good eye at perfecting the picture. What I enjoy about it is spending time with someone, and getting to know them in a different way, capturing that one perfect moment. There is always that one shot!

I had the privilege of taking Zane Bailey’s 2 year old pictures a few weeks ago, and it was an absolute blast. Nikki and I met at Cameron Park and just let Zane play and be himself. He didn’t want to corporate at first, but what 2 year old does! Eventually he livened up and started playing and having a great time. By the end of our afternoon he was hamming it up for the camera.
